Of course, it's an American national holiday, but the vast majority of people here in Ireland are at least vaguely aware that Thanksgiving Day was celebrated this Thursday. We will also be aware that Friday was a shoppers dream as retailers offered huge discounts on the day known as Black Friday. And after this weekend, we will see the relatively new phenomenon of Cyber Monday. But pushing aside this commercial exploitation for a moment, we speak to our CEO Cori Calvert, a native of California on what Thanksgiving Day means to her, what she is thankful for, and what she gets up to over the holiday period.
Since that initial trip to Ireland for a girl's holiday. I saw first hand how much potential there was for SMEs and hotels to save money by implementing easy energy efficiency upgrades. Back in California, we invested heavily in solar power and now we have so much at times that other states pay us for that excess energy. I see that same potential in Ireland with PV solar, wind generation, and tidal power.
